Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lenny Green always had a passion for music. This love managed to take him into the broadcast industry. Pursuing his calling, Lenny attended Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn where he studied Broadcast management.
After college Lenny worked behind the scenes at New York’s Channel 5, he hosted two music video shows and played the part of a disc jockey in the longest running Off-Broadway production, “Mama I Want To Sing.” In the mid 1980’s Lenny decided to spread his devotion into the scene of radio, which has taken him from Virginia to Connecticut. Upon perfecting and sharpening his skills, Lenny came back home to the city where he has remained ever since, joining the KISS FM on-air staff in 1994 and now sharing his talents nightly on 107.5 WBLS The Quiet Storm.
