You don’t need to be in a relationship to celebrate Valentine’s Day. All you need is Love, and that can be shared between friends, family or by yourself. In order to love someone else, you must first love yourself, SO ladies, no date? Don’t fret, live your life, happiness is within!!!

Now where to go this Valentine’s Day…

Not only is this first spot Romantic, the view from the restaurant is to die for! The River Cafe, sits right off the East River, over looking the Brooklyn Bridge with an amazing view of New York City. How can you go wrong?

Renowned for its exquisite setting, beautiful decor and seamless service The River Café serves a wonderful classic New American menu using only the finest, freshest and often rare ingredients. With an award winning and outstanding wine list, romantic piano music nightly, breathtaking floral arrangements, the River Café is more than simply dining, it is often a magical experience. Whether you are coming for dinner or a private party, be sure to leave some time to enjoy The River Café’s spectacular garden. www.rivercafe.com

Next HotSpot on the List is One If By Land Two If By Sea, and yes its just as Romantic as it sounds. Many couples come here for an intimate dinner or even to pop the big question! Its that magical 😉

Chef Colt Taylor believes in sourcing locally, using the freshest and highest quality ingredients available.   “My goal is to create a delicious and unique portrayal of the the Northeastern  Terroir for every  customer who dines with  us. I am particularly fond  of simple, rustic, French cuisine.”

Whatever you decide to order, you can’t go wrong! www.oneifbyland.com

For Our Long Island Readers, we haven’t forgotten about you. And if you live in the city take this chance to explore the Island, you will be pleasantly surprised to see what it has to offer!

Next on our list is one of my favorite places, The Melting Pot in Farmingdale, NY. For those who have never heard of this hotspot. It is a fondue restaurant, usually set up for couples to share a 4 Course Meal, they also serve individual orders. The best part of the meal is the dessert, go and you will find out why :)

A unique, interactive dining experience creating memorable moments with family and friends. From the time the first piece of bread is dipped and the last piece of dessert is savored,  you’ll be graced with the time to discover new things about people you thought you knew. And, those you’re getting to know. www.meltingpot.com

And Last But CERTAINLY not Least, The First Restaurant to make me fall in love with Long Island, HONU in Huntington Village, NY. They were once a Tapas Restaurant, but now they have best of both worlds. A little bit of this, a little bit of that! Especially their Mojitos!!

Home to Long Island’s longest bar and most acclaimed food, Huntington’s HONU Kitchen & Cocktails packs a culinary punch. Offering casual fare as well as succulent seasonal specialties, all framed in an always-packed and lively environment perfect for late afternoon snack or late night excitement.

The food has always been the crowd pleaser here, with something for everyone. Stay long enough and the mahogany chairs are pushed aside to make room for New York’s hottest dance floor on the weekends.

Rich fabrics, crystal chandeliers and artwork by Megan Sirianni, make Honu the perfect place for a date night, family celebration or elegant fun! Just Go…promise you won’t be disappointed! www.honukitchen.com
